1. 切忌心煩氣躁，每天清晨起來，用十分鐘安靜坐一會兒；聖經說：「你們得力在乎平靜安穩。」
2. 開始讀書之前，想一想，現在要加強哪一科，不要漫無目標地讀。
3. 語文科目像英文國文，建議你出聲朗讀，你口說、眼看、耳聽，使你得著三重印象；林肯就是這樣讀報讀書的。至於數學理化科目，建議你思考之外多演算，有些人是藉此得以開竅的。
4. 若擔心考試前一晚，會因緊張而失眠，建議你在考前一週左右，開始將生活作息調成跟考試當天接近的時間。
